In Joy Ride 3, his full appearance is finally shown throughout. His face is hardly ever shown, but he would normally talk to his soon-to-be victims through the CB radio.
He has some quite nasty psychological mind games that create a bridge for gory, life-and-death situations that are very rarely escaped by his victims. He punishes those who he sees as committing some form of injustice (especially when he himself is the victim of it, though he has punished those who have wronged others besides himself, as well), whether it is pulling a prank on him, taking one of his cars, or refusing a request. Another thing known about Rusty is that he has at least above-average physical strength (especially considering that he does not seem to have a very burly build), shown by the fact that he is able to tear a man's jaw off with one hand.
One thing known about him is that he owns a farmhouse out in the country where he lives when he is not on long haul trucking jobs (the barn attached to it is where he enjoys torturing his victims). But what is known about him is that he is a homicidal lunatic, he has an extremely aggressive temper, and all who cross his path are completely at his mercy. I adore all the work Peter has done for me over the last few months, but this has to be my personal favorite he has done so far.Not much is known about Rusty Nail. Once again, an amazingly accurate and kickass head sculpt done by Peter made all this possible. The outfit is pretty simple and straight forward too. Just trying to recreate the new actor's portrayal and style of this character (Mark Gibbon). I'll admit I'm a bit of a B-Horror junkie, and I quite liked the new direction they took him this time around. And usually looks really cool while he's at it lol. But in the later 2008 sequel, "Joy Ride 2: Dead Ahead", the writers decided to take him out of the truck more and turn him into a hulking, 6'6 "I Know What You Did Last Summer"-type killer that just kills for the hell of it.
Originally, he was completely personified by his black rig (a la, "Duel") and being just a voice over the CB radio terrorizing them.
